Chilcott, Edna, 88, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Erie, PA, died on February 11, 2018. She is preceded in death by husband Curt, son David, sister Virginia Freeman (Harned), and brothers Frank Harned and Gene Mulheirn. Edna is survived by son Jeff, daughter-in-law Lorie, granddaughter Olivia, and more family and friends. Edna graduated from Academy High School in Erie, PA, and Jamestown Business School in Jamestown, NY. She had a career as a Personnel Assistant for the Federal government, working both at the VA Hospital and U.S. Postal Service in Erie for 38 years. After retiring, she moved to Tampa, FL and worked for 10 years at a Ross store because she liked being around people and she loved to shop. Shopping was a serious hobby for Edna. In addition, Edna golfed, skied when she was younger, and volunteered as an usher at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Edna had an easy going personality, was a joy to be around, and had a way of making everyone feel special. She will be missed. Memorials will be held at 1 p.m. March 16, 2018 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL, and on June 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Gregory’s Cemetery in North East, PA.
