Elizabeth (Betty) Irwin Guidone, beloved wife of Robert Guidone passed away on February 4, 2018 in New Port Richey. She was born in Boston, MA on November 11, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Lillian Gorman Young. Betty resided in Clinton, CT for 26 years where she was the owner of Beazley Company Realty. She has been in New Port Richey for 27 years and worked at West Marine for many years. She leaves behind her three children Bill (Patti) Irwin of Berthoud Co, Terri (Bob) Mehmet of Naples FL, and Rick Irwin of Cromwell, CT. She also leaves behind her stepdaughter Nicole (Lenny) Gionet of Holiday FL. She was blessed with four grandsons Kevin (Melissa) Yarkosky, Kyle (Jennie Brown) Yarkosky, Don (Amanda) Irwin and Rick (Laura) Irwin as well as step grandchildren Jeff (Olivia) Gionet and Ashley (Brandon) Sage, and great-grandchildren Philip and Jospeh Irwin and Damien Sage. She also leaves behind her brother Jake (Gabe) Hanly of Quincy, MA and was predeceased by her brother Lawrence Hanly. She loved her family and friends and was called “Super Nan”. Betty loved to cook and throw parties. She was considered the social director of Heather Cove where she resided. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and very close friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Irish eyes are no longer smiling.
