Obituary For John Albert Smith

John A. “Jack” Smith, 87, of Hudson, passed away suddenly Wednesday, January 5, 2023. Jack was born October 11, 1935, to Frank and Margaret Smith in Mahanoy City, PA. He grew up in Pennsylvania then moved to Dighton, MA shortly after getting married. He also served bravely in the US Army during the Korean War. Jack spent his career working for Hasbro, Inc as an engineer before retiring. He is a popular local artist, specializing in wood burning.

Jack is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Mary Smith. He is survived by his son, Matthew Smith of New Bedford, MA, and his daughter, Lara Silva of Hudson, FL. No services will be held.
