Kevin Poynter, age 71, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away Monday evening on January 10, 2022. He was born December 20, 1950 in Sturgis, Michigan to the late Charles Walter and Lois Juanita (Hostetler) Poynter. Kevin resided in Hudson, Florida. On June 7, 2006, he married Kathy Demunbrun. Kevin retired from Fifth Third Bank. He was a graduate of Sturgis High School and graduate of Western Michigan University. Kevin is survived by his loving and dedicated wife, Kathy; daughters, Dawne Chappell (Kevin) and Alicia Clark (Ryan); sons, Joshua Barnd (Kelsey) and David Lee; grandchildren, Colton Chappell, Nathan Lee, and Kruz Clark; great-grandchild, Rosalina Chappell; and a niece, Michelle (Brett) Todd-Heffernan. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Cody Chappell, and his sister, Debra Poynter Porter. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
