Obituary For Scott Anthony Lepore

Scott Anthony Lepore, 61, of Hudson, Florida passed away on January 19, 2021, after a difficult battle with COVID-19.

Scott was born on December 14, 1959 to Robert Lepore and Judy McLaughlin of Clinton, MD.

During his time in Maryland, Scott worked for Melwood, a nonprofit organization that provides jobs and opportunities for people with differing abilities to maximize their independence and inclusion in the community.  In recent years, Scott lived independently, in a group home setting that he enjoyed immensely. Scott also attended the Red Apple School, a non-profit organization that provides meaningful activities to adults with disabilities.

Scott was a happy, enthusiastic, and engaged guy who loved to laugh. He loved his family, sports, music, and so much more.  In recent years, he cheered on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tampa Bay Lightening, and the Devil Rays, but also supported his former home teams in the Washington D.C. and Baltimore area.

Scottâ??s favorite band was Foreigner and he didnâ??t hesitate to belt out I Wanna Know What Love Is, any time of day.

Scottâ??s parents, Robert Lepore and Judy McLaughlin, predeceased him. Barbara Lepore, his stepmother, has cared for him since his fatherâ??s passing in 2019. Scott is survived by his siblings, Lynn Fossom, Lisa Hynes, Glenn Lepore, Phil Hudson, Karen Gentile, Kathleen Evinick, and nine nieces and nephews. All adored Scott.

No services will be held due to Covid-19. In lieu of a service or flowers, please consider a donation to one of the following organizations that were a big part of Scottâ??s life.
