Obituary For Walter Andrew Wilson

Walter Andrew Wilson, 57, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 from complications of liver disease.

Andrew was born in Whittier, California on October 5, 1966, to Walter and Irene Wilson. He was a 1984 graduate of Whittier High School and started his adventurous career in auto sales and promotions soon after graduation. He moved to the Tampa area and continued to enjoy the beach life he so loved. He met and married his wife, Teri Brown, and they made their home in New Port Richey, Florida with their beloved dog, Precious.

In addition to his career in the automotive industry, Andrew held numerous licenses, including flying, boating, and Ham Radio (KA6LSQ and WA6EUX). He loved cars and enjoyed talking about them with other like-minded enthusiasts. Andrew also served on the Tech Team at his church and attended a men’s group for support and Bible study. He was loyal to his family, his friends, and his God.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Teri Brown, his sisters Jennifer DiOrio and Amy Young (David Young), and numerous nephews and nieces (Mark, Jennifer and Gwendelynn DiOrio, Andrew, Marissa, Izzy and Bree DiOrio, Jose Abhad, Ashley and William Galindo, and Jared Young). He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Irene Wilson.

Per his wife’s wishes, no public service will be held. In lieu of flowers and gifts, Andrew’s sisters request that you consider contributing to the Go Fund Me page in support of Andrew’s wife, Teri, as she battles late-stage dementia.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Andrew, however my sister in law Teri knew him as the love of her life! The conversations and photos I have witnessed show the deep connection and love they shared for each other. I am grateful they found each other and wish they had more time. However, as Teri says, she will be seeing him in heaven.🙏🏻💕
